This is another of the Clone Wars sets, the Magna Guard starfighter (aka. P-38). This one is a cool design and I'd say fun to build, but that's a bit redundant.
I really like the overall design and "swoosh factor". The wings are sturdy and the engine pods are just cool.
The sliding cockpit is a really nice feature. The only drawback with this set (for me, anyway) is there is nothing to really hold the minifig in place, so it gets tossed around the cockpit and can sometimes pop it open a little. It's a little embarrassing to have the pilot fall out during a dogfight.
The engine pods open up, as do the concealed missiles in the rear. It also serves as staff storage for the two magna guards included with the set. This one is a great compliment to General Grievous' starfighter.
